Age Pioneers 2027
A look back our last Age Pioneers Summit and our plans for the next summit in 2027

What that means
We had an Age Pioneers event planned for November, during Age Pioneers Week. We’re moving it into Age Pioneers 2027.
November turned out to be the wrong month for too much of the group we wanted in the room, and when we looked at it properly, the event we now want to run is bigger than the one we originally wanted to hold. Rather than squeeze a version into the autumn, we want to take the time to get it right.
Age Pioneers has always been a small thing done well. An invite-only room of CPOs, HRDs and heads of DE&I, talent acquisition and L&D, comparing notes on what they’re actually doing about age in their organisations. Past sessions have covered multigenerational teams, re-skilling, hiring practices for the over-50s, and the business case for keeping experienced people longer. What makes it work is who is in the room and how honest they’re willing to be.

In the meantime, here’s March
We ran the most recent summit at BT’s London headquarters in March, and the recordings are all live now to relive or to catch if you missed them.

Why Age Pioneers exists
Age Pioneers is part of how we work on Enterprise Age Intelligence at 55/Redefined: helping organisations understand, predict and positively influence the decisions people make as they age, across their workforce and their customer base. Most organisations know how old their people are. Far fewer know who is planning to leave, who would stay, and what would change their mind. Closing that gap is what these rooms are for.
